Pabitra Mohan Samal Appointed as Principal Secretary to Law Dept 

Cuttack: Dr. Pabitra Mohan Samal has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the Law Department, Government of Odisha.

Dr. Samal, who earlier served as District and Sessions Judge, Bolangir Sadar, succeeds Manas Ranjan Barik, now posted as District and Sessions Judge, Cuttack.

In other judicial appointments, the Orissa High Court has assigned Asanta Kumar Das as District and Sessions Judge, Ganjam at Berhampur, and Pradyumna Kumar Nayak as District and Sessions Judge, Jagatsinghpur.

Additionally, Aruna Kumar Mallick has been posted as Presiding Officer, Co-operative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar, while Sushil Kumar Rout takes charge as Special Judge, Special Court, Cuttack.
